The steps to get your new WebsiteBox site up and running are fast and simple. Once you’ve worked through these easy steps, you’ll be amazed at how professional your new site looks, even before you do any customization or write any new content.
Let’s get started, as you’re a few minutes away from your new website.
Here are the steps as you’ll see them in setup:
There are several overall site design options, so just choose the one you like best. Don’t worry, as you can change your mind at any time and use a different design later. Once you've signed up:

Set up your site yourself, simple 6-step process.

You can do it from the Dashboard later or when setting up an additional new site.
Do-It-Yourself
Step 1: Select your theme:
You simply scroll through the choices and make a selection. Don’t worry about a permanent decision here, as you’ll be able to change your theme at any time, even try different ones to get feedback from your site visitors.
Step 2: Select your website type for content:
This is where you select the type or the niche market for your website. It will be pre-filled with content for this market niche.
Step 3: Set up your domain name:
If you want to register a new domain name with WebsiteBox, enter it here and it will be checked for availability and we’ll become your registrar for this domain.
Step 4: You already have a domain:
If you checked the “already have a domain” choice, this is where you will enter it so that WebsiteBox can get ready for you to point your domain name at the other registrar so that it sends the visitor to your site here. You use the two items, NS1 and NS2 to do that, and your registrar can do it for you.

Step 5: Upload your logo and headshot:
This is where you upload your custom images for your logo and your photo to be used on the site. You can skip this step if you want for now and do it at any time later.
Step 6: Integrate your email, contacts and more:
Use the email and tools you love for contacts, tasks, a calendar, and online storage. Simply click on them here and authorize your WebsiteBox to access your current accounts so you can use them from your Dashboard.
Step 6: Pull your listings from the MLS into the site:
If you’re a member of an MLS, enter check the button and enter your MLS, Agent ID and Office ID here. If you don’t know these items, call up your MLS and they’ll help you. If you’re not a member of an MLS at this time, just check the button for that at the bottom.
You’re Done! Here’s your site.

Do it From the Dashboard
Step 1: Select the Websites App from the Dashboard:
In the Dashboard, you click on the Websites App to set up your site, and you’ll go through the same steps as in the Do-It-Yourself section at the top of this page.
Step 2: Go through the site setup steps.
The first screen has five items on it, so let’s work through them, as they’re fast and easy. First you want to select your site theme. Scroll through them and choose one. Don’t worry, as you can change to another one at any time later.
Next you choose the type of site you want. This is another easy single-click step, and later you may build another site and do this again.
Localize your site for customization of the content for your area.
You’re going to love the simplicity of this step. Just enter your MLS details and your listings will automatically be pulled for display on the site. If you don’t have an MLS or haven’t set one up yet, just click the button at the bottom to move on.
It’s time to enter your domain name. There are three choices here. If you don’t have one and want to register one with us, click the top button and you can search to see if your domain name is available. {NOTE: I do not have the ability to move past these options without domain names, as mine from the past are already in your DB.}
If you do have a domain name, click the second button and enter it. We’ll search it out to make sure it is valid and you’ll get to set up later for it to point to your site here.
The last option is the one you want to check if you want to add a domain name later.
Once you’ve made your selection, click the LAUNCH MY WEBSITE button to move forward.
You’re Done!
