Changing the style of your header, including the background is easy.

Select the menu items display Style at the top, then choose a Header Style from the bottom group.  You can scroll down through.

Your site is in the background, so as you check these choices out, your site will change right away.  This way you can test them to see which you like best.  Here is the look based on the selections above.
